Reconstruction after Civil War Cartoon


I think that this picture from Reconstruction after the Civil War depicts how there was a struggle for labor and between the white and black men, there was major competition for jobs.

    I think it means even after the war, black people were still hated against.

    I think this shows that even though the blacks were free, they were still segregated and hated.
